Cancellations made with less than 30 days’ notice will not be eligible for a refund.
Requests to reschedule with less than 7 days' notice will be subject to a fee of $150.

Course Outcome
The Q-Ride R course is the mandatory training and assessment program that must be completed in order to be eligible to upgrade to a QLD motorcycle unrestricted licence (R).
Q-Ride is a competency-based training and assessment program which has been designed and is overseen by the QLD Department of Transport and Main Roads.
Assessment Criteria
Participants must be deemed 'competent' in each module sequentially in order to progress in the course and obtain the Competency Declaration needed to be eligible to enrol in the Motorcycle Knowledge Test (TMR).
Authorised Instructors
Q-Ride instructors (Accredited Rider Trainers) are authorised by TMR to deliver Q-Ride courses for the purpose of training and assessing a participant's competency.
MUST HAVE RE-O restricted learner motorcycle licence
AND have held it for at least 2 years
MUST BE current - Not expired or disqualified
MUST BE a Queensland licence

Eligibility Declaration/Certificate
Purpose
The Q-Ride R course is designed to assess experience riders on the skills and knowledge required to ride an unrestricted motorcycle safely.
Delivery
It includes both theoretical and practical training components to ensure a comprehensive understanding of motorcycle riding basics.
Theory Lessons
Delivered in a classroom setting and includes presentations and discussions which cover topics such as road rules, safety gear, hazard management, and riding techniques.
Practical Training
Includes fundamental riding skills such as balance, motorcycle controls, starting and stopping, corning, braking, and manoeuvring at low speeds.
